Unlike traditional metal or ceramic braces, Invisalign uses clear, removable plastic trays to achieve the same result. These trays function the same way as traditional braces: by shifting your teeth slowly over time. The difference is, they can be removed! These trays may be removed during meals or to brush and floss your teeth. Because Invisalign does not depend on brackets and wires like traditional braces, it is easier to clean and brush your teeth. Using several custom-made trays, called aligners, over a period of time, your teeth will begin to straighten out and fall into their new positions.

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a set of clear and removable trays, or aligners, which gradually shift your teeth over the time of the treatment. Because the aligners are virtually invisible, no one will be able to tell you are wearing them. First Step:
Schedule a consultation with us! Our orthodontists will be able to evaluate your dental needs and determine if Invisalign is right for you. In most cases, Invisalign will work just as well as traditional braces, but for more severe cases metal or ceramic braces are preferred. Our offices offer complimentary* consultations for your convenience!
Second Step:
Once our orthodontic team determines if Invisalign is right for you, your treatment is ready to begin! Your orthodontist will make a mold of your teeth using a soft impression material and send it off to Invisalign’s team. Based on your orthodontist’s recommendations, the Invisalign team will craft a special treatment just for you. The process is quick and may take only up to a week.
Third Step:
Invisalign fabricates a set of custom trays for you to wear to gradually straighten your teeth. Each tray is fitted to your teeth and gives you the most comfortable straightening experience. The number of trays will depend on how much alignment is needed to be done, although usually each tray is used for about two weeks. This alignment may take only up to a year before your treatment is finished and you have a beautiful, Hollywood worthy smile!
Fourth Step:
You wear each set of trays for several weeks, and may remove them to eat, drink, and brush your teeth. As each tray is used and replaced by the next, your teeth will gradually fall into their final positions little by little. During this treatment you will visit our office every month or every two months to check on your progress.
Fifth Step:
At the end of your treatment, you will be given retainers to help your teeth remember their new positions. You can now enjoy your healthy and perfect smile!
